Our history

Over a century on court.

Bromley Wendover was founded in 1906 and moved to its present Bromley site in 1907. The club’s first courts were grass, before conversion to shale in 1937 and macadam in 1989.

A club that keeps moving forward.

From the early 1980s, improvements included additional courts and floodlighting. More recent resurfacing introduced artificial clay, helping the club support year-round social play and competitive tennis.

The clubhouse and grounds remain a meeting place for generations of members, with tennis, tournaments and social events at the centre of club life.
